7w7 Terms of Service
Effective date: August 8, 2026
1. Definitions
In these Terms of Service:
- "7w7", "we", "us", or "our" refers to the individual developer operating the 7w7 project, together with any small team members assisting with its operation.
- "Services" refers to the 7w7 Discord bot, the website at https://7w7.es, its web application, game systems, features, and related services.
- "User", "you", or "your" refers to any person who accesses or uses the Services.
- "User Content" refers to images, text, customizations, character submissions, and other material submitted by Users through the Services.
2. The Services
7w7 is a Discord-based game and entertainment service with an associated website and web application.
The Services may provide gameplay commands, game systems, persistent progression, statistics, achievements, inventories, currencies, items, collections, settings, customizations, user profiles, character submissions, and other related features.
The Services may be modified, updated, expanded, restricted, or discontinued at any time.
3. Acceptance of These Terms
By using the 7w7 Discord bot, website, or web application, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
4. Eligibility
7w7 does not impose an additional minimum age beyond the requirements imposed by Discord and applicable law.
By using the Services, you represent that you are permitted to use Discord and the Services under the rules and laws applicable to you.
5. Discord
7w7 operates through Discord and may receive information made available by Discord that is necessary to provide the Services.
Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's own Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and other applicable rules.
7w7 is an independent service and is not Discord. 7w7 does not control Discord's services, policies, availability, or infrastructure.
6. Website and Web Application
The 7w7 website and web application are available at https://7w7.es.
Website authentication is performed using Discord OAuth2.
The website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking purposes.
7. User Accounts and Game Progress
7w7 maintains persistent game data so that Users can retain their game progress between sessions.
Game data may include progression, statistics, achievements, inventory, currency, items, settings, collections, customizations, and other information necessary for the operation of the game.
Such data is normally retained for as long as necessary to provide the persistent game experience. Users may nevertheless request deletion of data associated with them as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. User Content
Users may submit images, text, profile customizations, character submissions, and other content through the Services.
User Content may be publicly visible. Users are warned before submitting such content that it may be publicly displayed. Users should therefore not submit private or confidential information that they do not intend to make public.
Users are responsible for ensuring that their submitted content complies with applicable law, Discord's rules, and the rules applicable to the 7w7 Services.
User Content remains owned by its original author. Submission of User Content does not transfer ownership of that content to 7w7.
By submitting User Content, you grant 7w7 the permission necessary to store, display, reproduce, process, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate the Services and provide the relevant features.
7w7 may remove, hide, reject, or restrict User Content when reasonably necessary because of violations of law, violations of applicable rules, security concerns, or at the request of the original author.
9. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not use the Services to:
- violate applicable laws or regulations;
- violate Discord's applicable rules;
- submit illegal or prohibited content;
- infringe the intellectual property or other rights of another person;
- harass, threaten, or abuse other Users;
- attack, compromise, disrupt, or interfere with the Services;
- circumvent security, anti-abuse, or access controls;
- use unauthorized automated scripts, bots, exploits, or other mechanisms to obtain an unfair advantage;
- manipulate game systems, progression, currency, items, or purchases through unauthorized methods;
- abuse refunds or payment mechanisms; or
- otherwise misuse the Services.
10. Anti-Abuse and Security
7w7 uses security and anti-abuse systems to protect the Services, Users, game economy, progression systems, and infrastructure.
These systems may use command usage, account information, gameplay behavior, and security-related logs to identify suspected automation, scripts, exploits, cheating, manipulation, fraud, or other abuse.
7w7 may restrict or terminate access where abuse is detected or reasonably suspected.
Where applicable law provides rights concerning solely automated decision-making, those rights remain applicable.
11. Moderation and Appeals
7w7 may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to some or all Services where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect Users, protect the Services, comply with law, or address security and abuse concerns.
Users may appeal moderation or enforcement decisions through a private support ticket in the official 7w7 support server.
An appeal does not guarantee that an enforcement decision will be reversed.
12. Purchases, Donations, Ko-fi and Patreon
7w7 may accept donations, purchases, subscriptions, or other forms of support through third-party services including Ko-fi and Patreon.
Ko-fi may process payments using PayPal and Stripe. Patreon may use payment processors selected and operated by Patreon.
Payment processing is subject to the applicable terms and privacy policies of the relevant third-party payment provider.
7w7 does not intentionally store users' full payment card numbers or payment authentication credentials.
13. Refunds and Refund Abuse
Purchases may be refunded where the purchased items or benefits are also removed from the User's account, subject to applicable law and mandatory consumer rights.
Users must not intentionally purchase a benefit, use or consume that benefit, obtain a refund, and retain the resulting advantage.
Abuse or attempted abuse of refund systems, payment systems, or purchased benefits may constitute a violation of these Terms and may result in suspension or permanent termination of access.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14. Intellectual Property
Except for User Content and third-party material, the Services, including their software, systems, design, branding, original content, game systems, and related materials, are owned by or licensed to 7w7 and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Users may not copy, redistribute, commercially exploit, reverse engineer, or reproduce substantial portions of the Services except where expressly permitted by law or by 7w7.
15. Availability and Changes
The Services are provided on an ongoing basis, but continuous availability is not guaranteed.
The Services may experience outages, maintenance, technical failures, security incidents, Discord outages, or other interruptions.
7w7 may modify, suspend, discontinue, or replace any part of the Services when reasonably necessary.
Game progress may be affected by balancing changes, bug fixes, technical issues, exploits, security actions, or other changes necessary to maintain the Services.
16. Disclaimer and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided without guarantees that they will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, warranties, consumer rights, or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
17. Termination
Users may stop using the Services at any time and may request deletion of their personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
7w7 may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the Services, address abuse or security issues, comply with law, or for other legitimate operational reasons.
18. Changes to These Terms
7w7 may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, legal requirements, security practices, or other operational circumstances.
The current version will be published through the Services. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to be governed by applicable European Union law, together with any mandatory national law that applies.
Nothing in this clause is intended to deprive consumers of mandatory protections available to them under applicable law.
